Rachel’s expertise was invaluable as we navigated newborn life, and my positive breastfeeding journey was hugely thanks to her!

She has such a kind, gentle manner which made us feel immediately comfortable with her around. She was excellent with our daughter and I trusted her entirely with her. As well as all her incredible practical postnatal assistance, she was a huge support to me emotionally during the postpartum weeks. Her genuine compassion and empathy made her very easy to talk to and I will miss our chats! We can’t thank Rachel enough for making our newborn journey such a positive one!

We had some amazing professionals look after us through giving birth to our first son - from midwives at the hospital & in the community, to health visitors, to lactation consultants etc - Rachel’s warmth, expertise, support and practical advice in terms of breastfeeding sticks out miles above the rest. She has the ability to put you at ease pretty much instantly (and even better - same with my baby who I didn’t think knew how to fall asleep in someone’s arms, but could manage with Rachel!) She also lets you see the small wins as big celebrations through the immediate anxiety, as well as providing extra education and tips in a way that she makes sure aligns with what you’re trying to achieve. I’d recommend her to anyone to get a bit more sanity and support during the post partum haze, it was one of our best decisions to get in touch with her and I am 100% sure we, as a new little family, are in a better place than we would have been because of her. I can’t overstate the value of her kind nature & the reassurance her experience brings. Thank you Rachel

I was aiming for a VBAC following a traumatic c section and postnatal period first time. Rachel supported me and my husband through sessions at home, building on the research we had already done. This affirmed our views and what we wanted out of this birth. She is calm, kind, listens and doesn’t judge. The sessions really empowered me and helped us during birth to ask questions and make decisions which ultimately led to a VBAC. Forever grateful for Rachel’s support and positive text messages when needed x

I always knew I wanted to encapsulate my placenta, and was just so pleased to find someone who could help me. 7 weeks into taking my tablets, and I feel good and strong in myself and my milk supply has been incredible too- I do believe it’s down to taking these.
Thank you Rachel for being amazing, and I look forward to working with you again!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Rachel supported us around the birth of our first son, and although she wasn’t able to attend the birth itself due to an unexpected early Christmas Day arrival, her care and presence before and after made a world of difference.

From our first meetings, she was warm, intuitive, and incredibly knowledgeable. She listened deeply—not just to what we said, but also to what we didn’t. There were moments when I felt low or tired, and she would sense it and gently offer exactly what I needed, sometimes before I even realised it myself.

Even though she couldn't be at the birth due to timing (our baby had other plans!), the preparation we did with her beforehand helped us feel informed, calm, and empowered to navigate the experience on our own as best as possible. Afterwards, she visited us more than originally planned, holding the baby so I could rest, talking through how we were adjusting, and even preparing the most delicious breastfeeding snacks, which I still make to this day.

She’s incredibly kind, calm, and generous with her time and wisdom. It’s such a shame she wasn’t there at the birth itself—we know she would have been brilliant and made a huge difference—but everything else she brought to our journey more than made up for it. I wholeheartedly recommend working with Rachel to any new parent.

She helped us thoroughly consider and prepare each element of our birth preferences (vaginal and c section). She was a calm, steady and reassuring presence for us throughout the process; she has experience and wisdom in spades.

I ended up having an emergency c section, and she helped us remain firm on our birth preferences and ensure we weren't swept along with what is routine or convenient for the hospital.

We had significant postnatal care challenges and she helped us advocate for ourselves and our child.

As we didn't end up needing her at the hospital on the day of our daughter's birth, she kindly offered an additional postnatal visit where I was able to take a nap while she wore my daughter in a sling and made some lovely breastfeeding snacks.

Rachel is steadfast, calm, measured and hugely knowledgeable. Anyone who is considering her services has no reason to be apprehensive - you're in the best of hands no matter what your birth ends up looking like.

I found her advice through the birth preparation sessions invaluable, particularly as I moved hospitals during my pregnancy so it was lovely to have the continuity of working with her throughout. During my labour she stayed with me for nearly 18 hours and helped me understand the options available at various points, and she went out of her way to provide me with additional support after the birth.

We were so fortunate to have the support of Rachel and Sarah as our postpartum doulas in the first few weeks after our daughter, Winona, was born. They were an incredible help and gave us the opportunity to rest and recover, and we felt comfortable knowing that Winnie was in very capable and caring hands. They were so attentive to her needs, and their gentle, nurturing approach was exactly what me and my husband needed during that overwhelming time.

We’re so grateful for their kindness, warmth, and support. They both truly made those early days feel a little less daunting, and being able to catch up on some sleep from time to time was invaluable!

If you’re looking for dedicated, compassionate doulas, we couldn’t recommend Rachel and Sarah more highly.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We met late in my third trimester for our first child. I was looking for someone who could guide my partner and I through the process of birth and navigate the many scenarios that could impact our birth plan. Our sessions included two at home, a walk and zoom call, each covering different topics; birth, birth planning, postpartum and breast feeding. Rachel equipped my partner with the tools to be able to better support me in what I would need. My birth plan was to give birth naturally in water without interventions or pain relief, when my waters unexpected broke and two days went with no signs of labour, Rachel provided us the reassurance to pursue our desires and hold fast to our convictions in the face of induction pressure.

Roll on day 3 and I went into labour spontaneously and had the birth I dreamt of. Rachel was an incredible help on the day, texting my partner, helping me through the hospital, providing comfort in times of need, and ensuring we were settled as a new little family in our PostPartum ward. Rachel continues to be a source of comfort and support in postpartum, with her many visits including baked goods, tea, holding baby (so I can sleep) and allowing me the space to cry, laugh and reflect. Thank you Rachel, now a good friend and confidant.

You won't regret having Rachel in your birth team! She is kind, considerate, compassionate and never pressurises her point of view - she always allows you to guide.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We are so grateful to have had Rachel as our doula during our daughter's birth. We worked with Rachel during pregnancy to plan a homebirth, she was so knowledgeable, calm and made us feel very comfortable with the upcoming birth. Homebirth didn't go to plan due to staff rota plus our daughter was in a sub optimal position and I needed some help to get her moving. Rachel held both me and my husband throughout the 49 hours I was in labour and advocated for us when we were too exhausted to do so. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rachel!
