    Breastfeeding Support, Postnatal Doula

We were so fortunate to have the support of Rachel and Sarah as our postpartum doulas in the first few weeks after our daughter, Winona, was born. They were an incredible help and gave us the opportunity to rest and recover, and we felt comfortable knowing that Winnie was in very capable and caring hands. They were so attentive to her needs, and their gentle, nurturing approach was exactly what me and my husband needed during that overwhelming time.

We’re so grateful for their kindness, warmth, and support. They both truly made those early days feel a little less daunting, and being able to catch up on some sleep from time to time was invaluable!

If you’re looking for dedicated, compassionate doulas, we couldn’t recommend Rachel and Sarah more highly.

    Breastfeeding Support

Rachel is Amazing! Such a knowledgeable and thoughtful person. Her advice has been invaluable! I was really struggling with breastfeeding and Rachel had some really useful tips. I put into action straight away and half an hour later my daughter was latched on! She’s a genuinely lovely person to talk to and is very understanding. I can’t thank her enough and would definitely recommend!

    Antenatal Classes

I am so grateful to Rachel for her guidance and support during our two private sessions in the comfort of our home. I gave birth at 42+2 so really needed her gentle reassurance and someone to help work through all my questions on hypnobirthing. It was a game changer for me and really gave me the confidence to be assertive in the delivery room and be clear with my preferences. I had a really beautiful pool birth in hospital without any pain relief, largely due to some powerful breathing techniques. Thank you, Rachel!

    Birth Doula

We met late in my third trimester for our first child. I was looking for someone who could guide my partner and I through the process of birth and navigate the many scenarios that could impact our birth plan. Our sessions included two at home, a walk and zoom call, each covering different topics; birth, birth planning, postpartum and breast feeding. Rachel equipped my partner with the tools to be able to better support me in what I would need. My birth plan was to give birth naturally in water without interventions or pain relief, when my waters unexpected broke and two days went with no signs of labour, Rachel provided us the reassurance to pursue our desires and hold fast to our convictions in the face of induction pressure.

Roll on day 3 and I went into labour spontaneously and had the birth I dreamt of. Rachel was an incredible help on the day, texting my partner, helping me through the hospital, providing comfort in times of need, and ensuring we were settled as a new little family in our PostPartum ward. Rachel continues to be a source of comfort and support in postpartum, with her many visits including baked goods, tea, holding baby (so I can sleep) and allowing me the space to cry, laugh and reflect. Thank you Rachel, now a good friend and confidant.

You won’t regret having Rachel in your birth team! She is kind, considerate, compassionate and never pressurises her point of view – she always allows you to guide.

    Birth Doula

We are so grateful to have had Rachel as our doula during our daughter’s birth. We worked with Rachel during pregnancy to plan a homebirth, she was so knowledgeable, calm and made us feel very comfortable with the upcoming birth. Homebirth didn’t go to plan due to staff rota plus our daughter was in a sub optimal position and I needed some help to get her moving. Rachel held both me and my husband throughout the 49 hours I was in labour and advocated for us when we were too exhausted to do so. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Rachel!

    Antenatal Classes

We attended Rachel’s group antenatal class. As a midwife myself I had a lot of knowledge already but really wanted some extra support for myself and my partner in preparing for birth with a calm mindset. Rachel’s approach is really relaxed and friendly, she gave information that was balanced and non judgemental. I’ve no doubt that Rachel’s tips made a big difference to my birth experience. Really recommend the course or using Rachel’s other services to help optimise your pregnancy, birth and postnatal experience.

    Birth Doula, Homebirth

We had the absolute privilege of working with Rachel as our home birth doula and I cannot recommend her highly enough. From our very first meeting, she exuded warmth, a calming presence and a deep understanding of the birthing process.

Rachel was there for us every step of the way—providing reassurance, answering any questions and helping us feel prepared both emotionally and physically. She brought such a calm and nurturing energy to our home during labour, which made all the difference.

Her knowledge of comfort techniques, such as breathing exercises, massage, and positioning, was invaluable. There was a moment we thought we might need to go to hospital and Rachel helped talk through our options and ensured that I felt empowered and in control throughout the experience. It truly felt like she was not just a doula but an integral part of our family during this special time.

If you’re considering a home birth and want someone who will wholeheartedly support and guide you with care and expertise, Rachel is the person you want by your side. She is a gift to any family embarking on this beautiful journey.

    Birth Doula, Postnatal Doula

We couldn’t have asked for a kinder, more patient and informative Doula. Rachel truly made my first pregnancy more enjoyable and empowered me to advocate for myself throughout the final months. Overdue, Rachel went out of her way to reassure us, keep me positive and most importantly calm. I couldn’t have asked for a more supportive doula during those final few weeks of pregnancy and first few weeks postpartum after a few health complications during the birth and straight after. We really felt that Rachel went beyond our expectations and that she was a huge part of welcoming our son into the world. We would really recommend Rachel to any first time parents! We are very lucky to have found and get to know Rachel.
